But you only have five days in Long Beach, a schedule packed with sessions your PI expects you to attend, and a pulsating crowd of thousands of ISMB delegates to navigate. How to find your fellow students and really get to know them? At THE social event of ISMB 2012: CLUSTER your talent! at Gladstones.
The ISCB Student Council invites you to join us for an evening of social networking “analysis” on Sunday July 15th at Gladstone's Long Beach right on the waterfront, with magnificent views of The Queen Mary and the harbor. It’s the perfect setting to mix and mingle with other students and enjoy a relaxed and fun-filled evening you won’t soon forget!
Although you won’t have to write any clustering algorithms, you will have to exercise your problem-solving prowess to CLUSTER! with your fellow students and blast through our brain-teasing questions. Come early and find out if you have what it takes to self-organize into a winning cluster!
The Student Council has been perfecting its social events for eight years now and we know how to throw a party where everyone has a good time. Trust us: you won’t want to miss this!

- 20:00 Start “CLUSTER!” at Gladstone’s Long Beach
- 22:00 Gladstone's kitchen closes but the party continues. Make sure to order food before that time. During “CLUSTER your talent!” we'll have plenty of free appetizers available for our group.
