Social Event at the Madison Avenue pub in Toronto

The Student Council invites you to attend a networking and social event on Monday, July 21, night at the Madison Avenue pub in Toronto. There will be plenty of opportunities for meeting other students from around the world attending the Student Council Symposium and ISMB 2008 in Toronto. The Madison Avenue Pub is not only famous in Toronto but also throughout Canada as well as the United States, Mexico, South America and Europe. Beautifully designed for comfort yet intimacy, the Madison pub displays a distinct British flair with tastefully decorated walls, brass fittings, oak bars and comfortably decorated booths.

There won’t be a cover at the door but please note that you will be responsible for your own bill.

Getting there from ISMB 2008
WALKING DIRECTIONS (~45 mins)
Start on the NORTH side of the Metro Convention Center (255 FRONT ST WEST)
Walk WEST on FRONT ST W toward JOHN ST.
Turn RIGHT onto SPADINA AVE. Pass through 1 roundabout.
Stay STRAIGHT to go onto SPADINA AVE.
Turn RIGHT onto BLOOR ST.
Turn LEFT onto MADISON AVE.
End at 14 MADISON AVE

BY SUBWAY
Start on the NORTH side of the Metro Convention Center (255 FRONT ST WEST)
Walk EAST towards UNION STATION, between YORK ST and BAY ST.
Take the NORTH subway line to SPADINA STATION, exit on SPADINA AVE.
Walk SOUTH on SPADINA AVE to reach LOWTHER AVE.
Turn LEFT onto LOWTHER AVE, walk up to MADISON AVE and turn RIGHT.
End at 14 MADISON AVE.
