Concept

This is an endeavor by the Student Council to address the needs of job seekers at ISMB 2010. We will provide a forum for career development advice and talks for job hunters. We will be providing the following services for you this year

• A booth in the exhibit area during ISMB 2010 (July 10 - 13) with resume/CV critique sessions by a qualified career counseling professional.
• A recruitment and career guidance seminar series. Please see the below for details about the talks.
• A job posting board located near the Career Central booth in the exhibit area during ISMB 2010.

Resume/CV critique

We will have Joe Tringali at the booth for resume/CV critique sessions.Mr. Joe Tringali is Managing Director of Tringali & Associates, Inc., a recruitment consulting practice based in Manchester, New Hampshire. He has over 20 years of progressive experience in the field of Human Resources and is particularly well-qualified in the design and implementation of creative staffing programs and executive search practices within the Life Sciences.

Joe has held positions as an Executive Search Consultant, Corporate Employment Manager, and Outplacement Counselor. He has provided services to a diverse client base within the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industries, including Pfizer, Eisai, Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Biogen Idec, Genzyme and Infinity Pharmaceuticals.

SC Career seminars

This event will be conducted from 1-2 PM in Room 311 on Tuesday, July 13th. Each talk will be approximately 20 minutes.
