The ISCB Student Council is committed to helping students develop successful careers in the fields of Computational Biology and Bioinformatics. In addition to our Symposium and Regional Student Group initiative, the Student Council organizes several activities during ISMB that are dedicated specifically to helping students and post-docs with career development.
Student Council Career Session: Monday July 16, 17:30 – 18:30
Are you looking for a job, internship, Ph.D. program, or post-doc? Then come along to the Student Council Career session on Monday, July 16, 17:30-18:30. The Student Council has compiled a panel of experts in the field of computational biology at different stages of their careers. The panel ranges from post-doc to senior researcher and will be available to discuss a range of topics around careers in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics. Come along and you can ask the panel questions about their experiences in obtaining the ultimate job or research position.
